How Team Overalls Calculated for Events/Custom Leagues

Ive looked everywhere I can think of to find the answer. Ive got a 95 team overall restriction and I can’t figure out how the overall is calculated to make the right changes to my team. I reduce power, contact, fielding, I even change most of my pitchers to common players, and I can’t get the ream rating to move from 96 overall (over league restrictions). Anyone know How Team Overalls Calculated for Events/Custom Leagues? Thanks
