July monthly program moments

I’m loving them. Very fun so far

I love what SDS has done with this Monthly program. We can get a head start by collecting Topps Now cards. And we can do an exchange.
That makes the Moments not as critical ( and thus much more relaxing and fun) to try.

Have you done the Topps Now yet? Wait until you have to hit a HR with JD Davis against 99 Supercharged Lorenzen. I finished it right before he finished his no hitter.....Whew

Had a 15 pitch AB with Yuli ending in a weak oppo pop out…next two AB were HR each on 1st pitch so got my two hits thataway. Wait and see I’ll end up having to cheat and use the forum magic to get my 8 TB with Bellinger though

Lol yeah I torched through TN yesterday evening and only did first couple for this one so I’d have something to do later this evening. I glanced thru them and I think I saw a couple of three hit moments which give me hives

Oh nooooo, that’s always funny when you have to do a moment or play a game against what would be a silver or bronze and all the sudden they are Nolan Ryan.
I am feverishly trying to finish the Marte 50 hits so I can get Wagner and then I’ll start some of the other stuff. Haven’t been this far behind in like two years. Maybe I shouldn’t say that out loud.
I swear I have a life.

If you did the Topps now collect,you don't have to do all the MA moments.

Ok, I have to tell this one.
Civale moment. Three perfect innings (basically). Get thru first inning. Two outs in the second.
Throw a sinker to their left handed batter. He cracks it hard. Line drive up the middle.
HITS cavale in the back! Ricochets to 3b who throws him out!
Pitcher is laying there in the mound, looking like he’s hurting.
Ok, you know the rest. Next hitter, K!
One two three in the 3rd inning!!

Facing a supercharged Michael Lorenzen right now as Taylor Ward in this program. Is this the one you were talking about or was he in Topps Now also lol because I too closed it out before he was supercharged and I didnt even notice who all I had faced. I just broke my bat three of the four AB and the last one was on a change up lol

I think I’ll be skipping the Ward moment. His numbers vs righties are average. And in the moment, tigers throw nothing but them.

Ooh you’re right about the closer. Ima hurt him I can already tell
Edit Not at all the way I thought! First time the closer was a lefty and I hit a bullet straight center….next restart I managed 1 base in 3AB vs ML but this time it was a righty closer and ripped a stand up triple to the gap in right center. Lorenzens location is sick. He paints his glove side bottom corner with sickening consistency across 3 pitches at least

Fairbanks moment was fun. Only took nine pitches but still fun. I’m keeping that card in me rotation

Witt Jr is my hero, I had 44pts,needing 45 cause there are 55 pts worth of missions.
Did all the easy or simple moments,had the Paredes homer( hits everything on the ground) the 2 XBH( magnetic at em balls) get 3 hits( 1st- automatic,after at em balls)get on base 3 times( who picked an afternoon game for this? 1st ab or 2 you can't see the ball coming with the sun and shadows) bellinger 8 TB( yep,not tryin this one) Witt Jr homer( ugh hit a HR at KC,( Homer Simpson groan) 3rd AB didn't even need directional. -
I'm too busy with the Matt Cain 50 inning 🤪 Extreme mission first. 16 to go!

Bellinger has a beautiful swing and take a peek over at LF while you’re up. I’ll never pass that up I would’ve never believed it was possible to hit triples at Wrigley to Left but I just managed two back to back with Belli. Of course I only managed seven bases total haha I even struck out once I can’t even remember the last time that happened in a moment. I know when I’m beaten so it’s off to watch the rest of this Phillies game. You wanna see a BAD call check out the overturned call at First Base in the bottom of the first inning. You won’t believe it. You will but you shouldn’t. Nola pitching very strong. I’ll try again tomorrow lol
