also glad to see I'm not the only one who swings at that pitch that runs all the way in and almost hit emI know. I flailed away. One reason I don't play online. I can pitch, but PCI placement and pitch chasin' is an issue at times!

The perfect game honestly isn't that bad, i was a bit shocked to see JD Martinez in the Astros lineup but then i remembered he was drafted by them and in the lineup when Matt Cain threw his perfect game.

The perfect game honestly isn't that bad, i was a bit shocked to see JD Martinez in the Astros lineup but then i remembered he was drafted by them and in the lineup when Matt Cain threw his perfect game.

Haha i wish, no it took me about 7 trys, 3 were because of hit batters, 2 were bloop singles, and one was a home run. I struck out 18 batters on the one i was successful on.
The Billy Wagner one is just fun, i need that card. I would make that my closer.

The perfect game is a Moment not a Mission. In the Moment, you are pitching as Matt Cain (SF Giants) against the Houston Astros in San Francisco on Veteran difficulty.
Funny thing is when I first looked at this Moment for my database, I saw the Washington Nationals instead of the Astros. I wonder if they messed up and fixed it since it was against the Astros.

I yell at myself for swinging at those all the time, and above the zone- if it kisses the line I take for usually a ball but if it's neck or head high....
I always try to swing at the ones above the stroke zone and tomahawk the ball....it never works out.

I did. Down and away fastball first pitch till about the 4th inning when I started random D&I and D&A, not one batter swung first pitch. the changeup is elite and they liked to miss the slider and curve,mix in some high FB for strike 3 to keep them from sitting something.
I was first pitch strike to every batter through 6, then I started missing and they started chasing less, 2 2 ball counts in 7th,1 3 ball 1 2 ball in 8th, and I held my breath the whole 9th inning -
