Always. If you haven't downloaded my TA 1 spreadsheet, I have a table for MTO and a drop-down on each division to give max points per level. I'd offer TA 2, but I'm working in TA 2 and every day I add something fun to the spreadsheet... (actually, I took a break to finish the AS program, but I'll get back to TA 2 soon). I mean, if you want TA 2, you can have it too, but I keep finding things I want in it, so it keeps changing. @BxnnyMxn__PSN
Better gimme the TA1 I don’t have a chance without it…and I thank you
I drop the url in Discord DM.
The more posts I read about MTO, the more I feel I have a grasp on the reason as to why I’m loving it so very much….because I suck hahaha! Seriously, that’s gotta be it! I’ve never played such a mode of video game as this in a very long time but it reminds me of playing back before online was a thing and you always had to ‘make do’ with what the game gave to you at the time of release and that was all you ever got.
Seriously, speaking of my own personal experience and only trying to retell it (always with the disclaimers), but to me this is baseball gaming at its finest! Every single game I’ve played has come down to the wire…I just had the NLCS go 7 games against the Dodgers and I think at least two games went at least 14 innings and never at any moment up until the last out did I feel like I was going to win…but once I did here comes the rewards (think it was 7500) and the packs and all the goodies…I friggin love MTO lol!
One thing that I couldn’t help but notice was these situations arise where you got a runner in scoring position, you’ve got two outs, and you’ve got this ugly lefty catcher having to face Hader with the game on the line…but then you pause and check…there’s Escobar sitting on the bench! Get his [censored] in the game! Then you hit a rocket in the gap that wins the game…to me this is what baseball is all about and I’m enjoying the horsepoo out of it.
@BlindBleeder_MLBTS I owe you big time for this and I thank you

I'm glad you discovered another facet of the game you enjoy. I am in continual awe of how many different things this game offers. It has something for everyone. I played Franchise for years (when you could carry your team from one year to the next - and I mean software versions) until I was introduced to DD back in '20. That opened a whole new world for me, and I finally understood what the rewards I kept getting were used for. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why anyone would spend stubs on a digital card they couldn't ever touch or even keep after the year was over - and I had no idea what to do with the cards I would get as rewards because they couldn't be used in Franchise.
The only thing that bugs me about MTO is when you are in a player lock and have to field the ball with someone on base. Having to aim and throw is too much for my skills (like rubbing my belly and tapping my head simultaneously). (Yeah - I know you just tried it LOL).

You’re so silly! I had a fit “fast tracking” Alvarez, the catcher for the Mets haha…I didn’t realize I was calling the pitches and then having to try and catch them too I bet I had 5 passed balls before I realized what was even happening but it was fun all the same! Oh brother I ended up player locked at 2B with Jeff McNeil and I don’t think I fielded but 2/6 grounders and I threw them to third base instead of first …if I didn’t throw it into the bleeding dugout, that is! So much fun! Luckily I hit well and still got the boost but I know I single-handedly cost us at least four runs just in my gaffs on defense and we got shellacked accordingly.
My new question is do I just keep going on with the Mets until I have finished NL East for 1,2, and 3? Or should I switch to a different team and keep doing so? What do you recommend?

I used to play Seasons on this game many many years ago. In 2012 I started playing online Home Run Derby and that is all I did. At the end of the year, I was number 2 in the world according to their leaderboard. In 2013 my son introduced me to RTTS and I played that every year until July 2016 when he made me my old high school team uniforms, my CAP and I was off into DD for the duration. I've seen good games and I've seen bad. I really don't like how your RTTS player is tied into your CAP now. Never ever played MTO

Go all the way through the WS and then pick a new team. Your points will be in 1,2, and 3 - so you won't need to do the NL East again until 4 comes out.
If you want a break from MTO - go into your NL East TA and finish it off. There's a conquest for East that will give you the points for both AL and NL - but those are by season.
As far as fielding goes...I confess...my last couple of player-locked games with men on base...I avoided the ball LOL. I'm such a chicken. I need to not do that!!!!!

It was quite ingenious! You just came back from the ranch so I knew from Louis Lamour that the boss is called ‘el jefe del rancho’ and you mentioned playing visiting ball at Strawberry’s alma mater so added in the cucamonga part since it’s both in Cali AND a ‘rancho’. Such wit I have by the oodle-full, my friend.
Speaking of earthquakes, I hate them. “Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things…make you late for dinner!”

That’s one of the coolest things ain’t it? I know I’ve seen people scramble like ants when a black bear comes shambling thru with a couple of cubs in tow. I’ve seen people 20 deep leave their cars and act like nuts too haha! I suppose they aren’t something everyone sees all the time but wait until they ransack your garbage can a couple of times and then they start to become meddlesome. That is until I welded up a nuclear bomb resistant housing for my cans…of course now I’m doomed to forever take the garbage since the wife can’t lift the lid haha
-
We drove over the mountain into Cherokee NC and on the way saw about 300 elk in a field it was awesome. Some people didn’t even know what they were lol
