Concerned Set 1 used for future collection

I’m worried set 1 cards will be used in future collections. SDS has never confirmed they wouldn’t. So say there is a collection where you need all the award series cards, (Gary Carter and Vida Blue) would be needed. If there is a finest, (Bob Feller and Jorge Posada) would be needed.
These cards could still blow up in costs, no?

Very worried because of prices skyrocketing. A 30k card right now could go for 80-100K if needed.

Yes it's possible but i wouldn't be surprised if SDS gives away old set 1 packs like candy in season 3.
It will upset alot of people but I think it's almost a grantee to happen

I think that is possible, but I do think a lot of people will not want to overspend for expired cards. I also think there has to be a point where Set 1 packs start showing up in conquest maps. If they dropped a collection involving Set 1 tomorrow, I could see an initial jump in price but bet it would settle out pretty quick.
