Back to, no matter what difficulty, the CPU pitcher throwing a 3-1 ball-strike ratio.
All you have to do is miss a pitch that's close to the edge and chances are you'll only see one more pitch in the zone, that AB, and 9 out of 10 times it jams you.

I do think it’s a little silly how they make the CPU so many balls on lower difficulties but if you’re getting jammed against the CPU that’s on you. CPU loves throwing inside.

I know it's on me. But when they throw a borderline/inside pitch on a 3-2 count you either have to accept the possible walk or pray you don't get jammed. Even knowing it's coming.
I've needed the 5 XBHs with Captain Walker forever. I took him at the last Captain pack, which I think was about 110-120K in points.
I still need 2 XBHs with him to finish it and he's about 250 PXP from being P4'd.
I only need those two XBHs, or 2000 more PXP with Rockies players, to finish the AL West.
I've played enough to finish off 3-4 of those team missions BEFORE I could get 5 XBHs with him because the pitcher walks him 90% of the time.

Make sure you have someone with better or comparable hitting ratings batting behind him. The pitcher will pitch around players even more when there’s a weaker hitter hitting behind them.
