Starting Pitcher Stamina After Early Opponent Quit

Am I the only one that thinks it’s dumb that my starting pitcher loses all his stamina after only pitching 2 innings and my opponent quits so early in the game?

I get we have a rotation of 5 players to pitch with but I mean pitching 2 innings Shouldn’t drop the stamina down to 20%. Tough to build XP with those players if this keeps happening unless i only want to go offline grind but I enjoy playing online ranked more than grinding CPU games.

Just wondering if I’m in the minority here. To me it doesn’t feel right or fair .especially if it’s a card If I purchased with stubs (not the case for this particular post) but what’s the point if I can’t use him for another 4 games after only being able to pitch 2 innings with him in the previous game played.

If they were smart and clearly they’re not starters would be randomized each game with full stamina. #1 vs#1, #2 vs #2 and etc

I had the opposite happen in RS yesterday. I was able to start Randy Johnson three games in a row because his stamina was full after opponent quits/disconnects.

That’s how it used to be and a lot of people didn’t like it. Say you buy a new SP and you can’t even use him for 5-6 games. I like how they have it now but I do think there should be a little less of a stamina penalty when people quit early. It should go buy pitch count/stamina loss in the game rather than making them unusable for 3-4 games because they threw 20 pitches.

I have a question

Let's say I used Satchel Paige as an opener for 1-2 innings...similar to how he was often used in real life. I bring in Hilton Smith. Opponent quits in around the fourth inning after Smith has pitched 1-2 innings. Would both Paige and Smith get docked to 20% stamina?

Ugh! Pitcher wheel with individual pitcher stat missions and PXP missions would send us back to 2018!
