Here is the problem . Every pitcher by now can dot basically any sinker or cutter ...
If he dots one of those pitches on corners and you make a good to perfect swing .. you will get bad animations like 60% of the time it's a lineout or at best a single.
I mean i'm playing on hall of fame just making a good swing is hard on a dotted pitch
If you wanna give the ability to pitcher to dot everything fine .. But reward us when we putt good timing and PCI on it !

I think perfect perfect hits are easier than ever this year. Unfortunately it is annoying to get a perfect perfect fly ball. I honestly see more of this when I play against the CPU by far. Online hitting for me has been the most rewarding it’s ever been

In my humble opinion. This is one of the worst MLB games I’ve ever played, gameplay wise. It’s been snowballing downhill ever since they started to make games for every console. I’m kind of stunned they haven’t come out with a gameplay update yet, it’s Almost June lol.

I usually disagree with OP but my last two Ranked games my opponents were held by the hand and kept in the game by SDS, lineouts are out of control and the hit variety we had earlier seems to be gone. I went 4-7 in P/P during my last game, making more sweaty than it should have.

Sounds like what happens in BASEBALL.
An elite pitcher throws the pitch where he wants, and you’re basically screwed.
Maybe…if you’re an elite hitter, you can drive it some where for a hit. Or if you’re an average hitter you can foul it off and hope he doesn’t do it again.
I’m not sure what game y’all are playing…and I’m not sure some of you making this complaint know the sport this game is trying to simulate.
The whole esports, first person shooter mindset like this will kill this game if you all get your way.
I have plenty of issues with this game…but gameplay is pretty darn good.

My last opponent threw fasfballs up and in for about 80% of his pitches. I only kept a few homeruns fair, if I was just early it would hook foul because RNG was on his side, I do not know what’s elite about his pitching skills.
Gameplay remains good to me, I just complain about hit variety slowly becoming non existent again and SDS keeping low skilled players in close games when they have been clearly outplayed…
