They get the gameplay criticized every day, look at it (maybe...) and even if the issues are substantiated with reasoning they just shrug their shoulders and leave the same issues alone.
Issues we've complained about for years:
1.fielders go braindead or won't charge balls
2. Pitches that are perfect still just go wherever at times
3. Sinkers..... I've given up on this one, I'm lying ill be back
4. Hitting desyncs (hits a foul perfect)
5. Can't hit opposite field without it feeling like swing a nerf bat (was perfect in mlb 18 then they patched it bc people couldn't throw corner sliders all game)
6. Balls an inch outside of the zone can't be hit as well even with the dot right on the ball
7. runners go braindead
8. 3rd basemen play bunt defense and diving stop a ball hit 110
9. Balls always seem to hang up for ages in the gaps even hit hard
10. Ball is low and away, pulls it for a hr. Hits the same pitch to center and its always a line outI could go on and on and these are almost all legacy issues, but yeah let's worry about making cards work in sets to increase profits. Screw the customers, make investors happy.
That’s free market capitalism. The only way to change it, is to not buy the product.

You know [censored] well that's not actually comp. Actual comp would be another big studio being licensed by the the mlb to make a baseball game, but for the league it makes more sense ro just have 1 company do it

SDS does not have nor has it had an exclusive license. These other companies could if they wanted to, in mid 2000s there were several major baseball titles, the companies gave up on them, money can't be the reason either, these games dropped out at a time when future projections would have shown the expanding online market and expanding of the profit line,so there must be other reasons why.

They don’t have an exclusive license. Anyone else can make a baseball game if they wish. EA can go ahead and get back in the market like they did with basketball and NBA Live. Of course look how that went.

Either way the point still stands that those issues all exist and don't get fixed due to there being no comp
