Monotony

As someone who used to get this game only for rtts it's so disappointing how monotonous this mode is now. I just can't play it consistently anymore. Don't get me wrong I don't want SDS to become 2k and make everything transaction based but there has got to be more added to this mode. How about instead of paying these MLB network people to essentially talk to themselves, can we make it more interview based. Our player doesn't even need a voice heck I'd be cool with text based. Maybe have it to where you have three options to choose as response and they have audio for whatever response you have.
And can we please get the rookie showcase back? I created numerous players just to go through the process and see where'd I'd get drafted and what team. Still give people the option to just go to whatever team they want but for those who loved the showcase please bring it back. Can we work in endorsements as well that if you wear certain brands and achieve certain milestones the endorser will reward you with stubs

That would require them to actually put some effort into rtts…that isn’t happening. They add a bell or whistle and call it new and improved although nothing has changed with basic game play in four to five years. The first baseman still catches pop ups that should be 25 rows into the seats. The catcher catches foul balls by standing up turning around and sticking their glove out. Pitchers have become the most dynamic fielders on the field. Every other at bat is an espn highlight catch. The opposing team still bunts with two outs and the clean up hitter at bat with the bases loaded. To add something to the game would require them to actually put effort into it. That isn’t going to happen.

Except that it really wouldn't require any effort, like, at all. It would be beyond trivially easy to code 0-100 (beginning at 50) meters for what the old 2k NBA games used to do--relationship with fans, with coaches, with teammates--and an interview room that the player got kicked to to answer a question after the game. If the game were on PC, I could make that mod in an afternoon, especially since the template is already there--you get one interview after your first hit, and one after your first homerun. The most time consuming part would be writing the questions, and even that would only take a few hours.

This year's rtts is the best example of what your talking about. They basically somewhat changed the dynamic goal look and added program stars and that's it. I mean really a slap in the face to those who spent $70 for rtts

This is essentially all I'm looking for, at least then it'll feel like your interacting in ways that matter beyond the field

I know we don’t want it to be like NBA 2k based but you should be getting more than 5 stubs per game played. Especially if your player is making X million dollars. Like if my guy signs a contract for $20+ million a year, we should be able to make a few thousand stubs per game played
