Not a lot of people are buying 50 bundles since LS prices are down from the start of the year, and he is also just so good, so probably both

A lot of different things. Yes the pull rate is worse than the other ones. Yes people want the card. Add in at the beginning of the game for a little while opening packs can be viable and now the packs are so bad if you rip a 50 bundle you can pull 5-6 diamonds and still lose 30k+ on the bundle and if you don’t pull one you can easily lose 70% of those stubs so all the dudes who play casual and rip bundles are broke and probably don’t log in. Then the reward if you complete everything in the game you get maybe 100 packs. Out of those hundred you would have to pull a chase pack then Mantle. Welcome to the new norm on those chase packs. But don’t worry if you complete everything in season 2 including whatever else drops you should be able to get close to affording that card. But there are a lot of free 97s to use that are only 2-3 tiers lower than the card.

Its combination of both for sure. Tatis was low 300's and then hung around mid 200's for the most part. But not everyone was rushing to spend 250k on Tatis. Commerce Comet everyone wants. lel... So there is 100-150k premium of demand in him over Tats..

Pull rate gotta be bad. I've gotten 3 Chase packs so far randomly somehow NOT from the bundle purchase, and everytime i pulled a 85-87 Diamond card.
Talk about a kick in a nuts seeing a Chase Pack pop up while open a regular pacj just to get shitted on lol. 3 times

To elaborate on this I just pulled a 50 bundle. I’m about to quit the game so why not. I pulled 1 purple diamond and an extra chase pack. Both basically QS purple diamonds from those. And lost 42k stubs of the 75k. And that’s not a one off. That’s the norm. I already did the count on the rewards. If you complete everything they dropped including the entire xp path you get 83 standards packs. We can guess 100 with the conquest hidden packs. So where do you think the card is going to come from? So how much will those chase cards cost? However much the quota hires scammers that work on the game want it to because most of them are probably being put on the market by them.

- Card is gonna be out of packs soon, 2) we're likely about to see a stub sale in a week as well, and 3) he's probably going to be a top 3 OF in the game for at least a month.

Think I have opened 7 Chase 3 and gotten all purple diamonds. ( probably 16 Chase packs total this year and all [censored])

I just bought him myself. 386k is a bit higher than I wanted to pay, but a stub sale could drive him over 500k. I'd rather pay a little more now than risk him going out of my price range in a week.

I've been waiting until my stub count was big enough to spend 380k+ and i'm happy to say that today is the day I finally got him as well. Card looks extremely fun so can't wait to try it out. Glad i got this done before a stub sale.

I struggle every year with mantle cards. The price tag this year makes it an easy pass. I’ll stick to Griffey.

I’ve received two random chase packs from the free packs in season 2 affinities and pulled Mantle both times. I guess they’re making up for never getting anything better than a low gold in all my free duo packs. One more time and I can finally finish the live series.

same here last night, random chase pack out of a pack and pulled the mick, might hold on to him for a while i think a stub sale is coming.

I feel like this card plays a bit different this year. Swing seems faster compared to previous versions.
