Why do Kaiju cards like Bryce have to go as wild card?? They're set 2

I thought you can use core, set 1, and set 2 cards into like July.....I tried to put Bryce Harper Kaiju series in and it made me use him as wildcard????

Do you have your lineup setup as a Season 1 lineup? Try creating a new lineup and it will probably work.

I did but I had to go in and re-do it a second time , back out, and then it worked thanks
