Even though the TA programs don't expire; it looks like starting on Friday the only way you'll get progress towards the TA 1 program is if you use Set 1 cards while also using Set 2 cards towards TA 2.

Meaning if you just field a team of Set 2 cards; you won't get any Team PXP towards Set 1 (if you still need progress).

Not sure if this has been mentioned.

makes sense that set 1 would count toward ta1 and set 2 would count for ta2, I would suppose that they will have the team based pxp mission again and that it would be set specific and core cards would count for both.

Yeah. Core cards will count for both. I was just saying that if you haven't completed TA 1 yet and planned on 'double dipping' come Friday; you won't get any TA progress if you just use TA 2 cards.

If I remember correctly; the last time TA was around you could get progress using any card. (course sets and seasons weren't around).

Are we sure about this? I noticed you said, "looks like."

You will be able to make progress in TA1 with only Core and Set 1 cards. You will make progress in TA2 with Core, Set 1, and Set 2 cards. If you look at the TA team missions screen, it says "season eligible cards".

My dawdling approach to Team Affinity has sadly caught up with me. I was thinking I could finish it while working on season 2. I know I still can by using core cards, but I do not use core cards much.

You can also use Set 1 cards.

Yeah. You can use Set 1 cards. What I meant is that say you use the new Incognito Eddie Murray. You'll get progress on the Orioles Team Mission on TA2. But not in TA1.

You would have to use an Orioles player from Set 1 or Core WITH your Season 2 player to get progress on TA1.

    Yeah. I misread the requirements.

That happens. Also, many do not even see the small writing!
