Friday - TA stage 1 and 2 earned at the same time?

Seems we are getting 30 new team affinity on Friday so can stage 1 available now and that stage be earned at the same time?

Yes, i believe thats how it's going to work because thats how TA has worked in the past.

Just making sure I’m understanding- are you asking if Team Affinity 1 will still be available once 2 launches and can you earn progress on them Simultaneously?
2021- my buddy started the game after all five team affinities were out and earned progress towards all 5 using the same teams (I.e. using all Red Sox for the AL East). It was actually cool, seemed like he was unlocking multiple diamonds after every game.
So to answer your question, yes. There is no time limit and while they may change the missions slightly, there will still be division based missions like “use all Mets players for the NL East”
So basically….what my boy @samguenther1987 said.

I'll add to @Ericulous1_PSN reply.
While in the past you were about to 'double dip' on certain past TA missions once a new TA was released; who knows if they allow it again.
However, I can say that if you consider that it looks like that if you didn't start any of the TN Program's Missions or Moments until now; you would be able to do all 5 weeks of moment's before you had to do any of the PXP missions.
So who knows if the TA programs will follow suit.

Yes I never finished stage 1 so I am hoping I can do both at the same time

I’m sure there will be exclusive missions to TA 2 like the player PxP for the bosses and henchmen but I’m guessing they’ll have some base mission like Play with any players from the Brewers on the NL central in which case it will apply to any TA.

This year TA is seasons based. So I’m guessing that it will be yes until season 3 starts in which case you will only be able to double dip with season locked players from season 2 and 3 however if you use live series or any core players you should be able double or triple up on earned XP and the same goes for season 4. I’m guessing that once season 4 expires all season locked content will once again be available for use in all modes. That would make the most sense imho.

Thanks I am more concerned with being able to earn them for offline not an online player myself

What I said would hold true for offline play as well. You’ll still be locked into season you’re in.

I would disagree with you here. Since Set 1 cards will available for offline year round and that the TA 1 Program does not expire, I am pretty sure the OP will have no issues being able to finish TA1 at anytime!

Yes I agree with you, I’m merely pointing out that if you used certain cards for the purpose of getting your stats for completing the program that the stats for the allowed season are the only ones that will count. For example if you did a team build in season 3 and used players from season 1, my guess is those stats won’t count because TA 3 is part of season 3 and only season 3 and season 2 cards will be allowed to be used for stat collection. However core cards will be usable the whole year for stat collection and online team builds. Now this is all conjecture until we get to season 3 but the way I understand it based on the way these seasons are supposed to work my guess is the explanation I’ve given is the way it’s going to be.

Are we talking Team Affinity here? I think the content is lined up with the seasons and the cards that are released go with the sets. However, TA isn’t a mode to play therefore no matter where you play - online, offline, Mini seasons, CQ etc, you’re always completing the basic TA progress requirements ( ie - players from the Red Sox for the AL East etc) as long as your players represent one of the 30 teams. TA doesn’t expire. So no matter if it’s May or December, until you finish Team Affinity 1, you will earn progress on it and every subsequent Team Affinity mode at the same time. Unless there is something obvious I’m missing.
Now, if I’m understanding you correctly, are you saying that when the next TA comes out, they’ll add a stipulation to the first one that only set 1 cards count? I apologize if I’m misunderstanding you. Otherwise if someone buys the game in December- if they field a team of all Red Sox, they will gain progress on Every single Team Affinity AL East at that same time.

I explained it a little more thoroughly in my previous response. I’m not saying the cards can’t be used I just don’t believe that out of season cards will gain the stats toward program progress. So next season 1 and 2 and core would be eligible for stat progression and the following season would be seasons 2 and 3 and core for stat progression. This is just a guess at this point but is what makes the most sense to me.

I reread your post, I guess it’s possible that for Season 2 TA they’ll stipulate you can only use Set 2 and Core cards to earn program progress but I doubt it since the first season doesn’t stipulate that. It’s just team based. A Cardinal is a Cardinal regardless of Set. But I could be wrong. It’s definitely happened before haha.

You could be 100% correct and the season stipulation could be for collections only. But it would be, in my opinion, take away from the whole concept of the seasons which was to have diversity of play this year and the whole reason why we have so many 99’s this early. To keep play from being to stale come later this year when everyone was using the same lineups. Obviously offline play doesn’t deal with this.
