This weekend, I was diagnosed with the Flu. Influenza B to be exact. Ugh. I feel terrible My wife has banished me to my office, which luckily for me, is where my PS5 has been banished.
I was feeling better today, and I had an existing BR run going. 4-1. About average for me. I needed 3 TBs to get to 50 for this run, and 554 points to get to 4,000. Great - knock off these two goals and I'll take my Posada.
My opponent shows as 32-15, so I'm not immediately worried (I know, record isn't everything). However, I should have been worried.
He hit everything hard. He scored 9 in the 1st, 6 in the 2nd and 2 in the 3rd. Every ball found a gap, a hole... Xander at SS didn't seem to know what his glove is used for. One one ground ball through 1st/2nd, my fielders both converged on the ball and both missed by a mile. To be fair, I did use a completely gassed Miyagi in the middle to try and pick up some PxPs. That went horribly wrong. I gave up 3 massive HRs to Signature Jeter. JETER!!!
I managed to score 2 runs on 4 hits. Not good. But I hit the ball well... just right at everyone. Plus, I blame my poor performance partially on this prescription cough medicine. So, I got my 3 TBs.
When the "Progress" screen came up, I earned 544 points. Perfect! Wait... I needed 554. 10 short.

My day at work sucked, imagine that if you tried to use a debit card at a grocery store, except the whole debit card system was down, now imagine you are a worker who has to deal with all those customers.
I am building a pirates theme team atm! With Kiner I think it can be decent, just need Cutch to lvl 2 parallel

I heard this rumor today that the Pirates came into today with the best record in the NL! I don't believe it!
