So, this cat is playing like a chump. A really annoying player. He is beating me, but I vowed never to disconnect or quit this year (check my record). Anyway, so, this guy is batting, and we freeze. Now, he is sending me all kinds of harassing messages. He's threatening to send messages to developers, SDS, etc...and he wants me banned. lmao. for what? The game froze. It's none of our fault. what a loser. we can't post user names, but please check this guy out in the history. weed out the baddies, please!

lol, it just does not stop. Now this guy messaged me saying, "It's confirmed. Your account will be banned." What a clown. Developers, SDS, whomever...please check this guy out, and deal with him.

Vowing never to disconnect is not some commendable or honorable thing to do. This game freezes online and has as long as DD has existed. The right thing to do if you’re losing is to quit. That said, if the way the guy is playing is really that disrespectful, I can’t say I blame you for not quitting in this instance.

Really, it's one of those situations where there is bunt dancing and the likes. After one run, this guy messaged me and told me to give up and started harassing me, for no reason. Class act:)

I think it is commendable to stick through a complete game when losing, especially since lots of people disconnect when losing.

This whole “etiquette says losing team should quit” is not from SDS fyi…It’s just opinion from people on here, Nothing more…If this guy is as toxic as you say with the bunt dancing, messaging, ect and you don’t mind not playing for awhile then F this guy and stick it to him. Get you that dub!

No you can’t. You get a cool down that progressively gets longer. But still just quit most of the time anyway. You’ll be back playing faster than sitting in a frozen game either way.

Yeah, I'm with those who say, "There's more to life than getting in a freeze-off staredown." Time is valuable. Disconnect and move one.

Pretty sure the OP is referring to a reg 1v1 Ranked game. So there would be no cool down penalty for quitting by dashboarding.

I leave them on just for a good laugh, but almost never actually respond, unless its the rare case where someone is actually being cool. For the other crazy messages, its just fun to laugh at.

So people complained about losing stats from dashboarders so sds implemented a cooldown as a punishment but only in the mode where stats don’t even count and where freeze offs seem to be the most prevalent? That idea seems so bad I find it hard to believe it’s true.

Maybe I’m lucky but I find it no harder to find a co-op game than a ranked game no matter what time i have tried. It takes less than 20 seconds. Also is the cooldown for quitting a co-op game or dashboarding? Because if it’s only for dashboarding than that reasoning doesn’t make sense either.

yeah man me too - co-op has been a blast so far this year - playing with a bunch of guys in this forum we have been raking lately - my cross play is turned off, and games got frozen 2 times in around 10-12 games
