I truly believe this is plaguing the game at the competitive level. If you don’t grind RS or play online competitively at the 700+ level, this might not be for you.

Swing penalties are literally non existent at times in this game. We have hitters hitting home runs off of EARLY swings on breaking balls down and away, out of the zone. This simply cannot happen. Pitching is SO much about getting hitters off balance. This game you can really ONLY get hitters off balance with Very Late or Very Early swings. Anything in between is a complete random toss up. Early swings going to the opposite field gap, late swings getting pulled. Just earlier being ripped 5,000 feet foul but late swings going down the opposite field line fair.

What a mess. Love the game this year, but at the competitive levels it’s just NOT in a good state.
