That’s how it always is ain’t it man!? I had the same problem with one of those infernal Clemente moments. If I need 3 singles I hit 3 triples but when I need two extra base hits then all I can do is hit singles!

No joke. It took me 61 tries to hit a homerun with Duke Snider. I only needed a hit with Luis Arraez for hit number 200 and in one at bat I hit a homerun.

Oh - and not giving us a way to restart the moment when we know we won't be able to complete it is bogus. We can only quit, and go back to a menu that says continue or restart instead of just restarting the moment.
There was one of those moments with Dihigo that I honestly thought I’d NEVER finish!!! What a slog

Joe Carter weekly wonders moment….
It’s moments like these that I simply don’t understand SDS thinking. First, they give us a Carter card that is hard to get the “job done” with 90 power. Then, they throw a pitcher out there with a 77 homer rating.
My first attempt was a 2-0 fastball perfect/perfect fly ball to the warning track. I’m sorry, perfect/perfect in moments should satisfy that moment (imo). 5 more tries later, I’m done.
Do you want me to “celebrate” the moment or not? At this point, if I were to get it, I’m more frustrated than excited. make it more straightforward. I still have to “play baseball” and swing at strikes, work the count, etc. that’s enough difficulty for this kind of moment.
It’s stuff like this that I just don’t understand what they are thinking.

I’ll add this: SDS has done “something” to Moments. Starting with Great Race program, I am rarely, if ever, getting ANY of the moments in ANY of the subsequent programs on the first couple of tries.
Every one seems to be 5+ tries to get them. Hitting, pitching, baserunning. Doesn’t matter.

I think this might be my first post in here. I completed the "Extreme" divisional series moment on the second try. I thought "oh, the rest of these will be a piece of cake". I breezed through the first two, then came upon "Tally 2 extra-base hits with Hicks". Simple. On about my 5th try, I thought "wait... this is way more difficult than it should be". Well, it is. The SP is Jordan Montgomery, Supercharged. So, I might actually wait on this one. I can't hit anything hard off him.
Edit - I did get it done. Just kept restarting until I got a double in the first AB. It took me wayyyyy to many tries though. I'm not good.

Finally, after about 60 tries. Some were resets after Perdomo made an out. Some were after 3 outs were made.
I wound up getting it with 0 outs!
Tommy Pham, who I did terrible with(Walker as well was jokingly bad)wound up cranking a no-doubter off a Sink-piece.
I was determined to bust this out. It was frustrating as hell as exit velo is definitely nerfed. -

O is that what was going with that moment, took me at least 20 trys, like youbsaid finally got a double and then a perfect perfect straight away center field home run

I tried it 3 times and said no thanks. I got 8, 12 then 1. I didn’t do a single moment for the previous round and completed it and won’t need them this them either. I just thought it would be fun until I got 1.

80 pts from CQ, stat mission,and pxp mission (just once on the repeatable)
turned in 5 vouchers from the mini seasons and only had to do 3 moments,
pitch 2 innings,pitch one inning, and get 2 hits. No moment headaches for me.I really really like how they tied mini seasons to the programs instead of showdown.

I skipped about 100 moments I didn’t care to do. I always track how long it takes to complete one for my own self. As I stated 61 at bats for a homerun with Duke Snider. 2 extra basehits with CJ Cron way back in April took me 55 minutes and he went 7-78 and drew 11 walks. I’m sorry but that is not realistically possible for his ratings vs the pitchers ratings.

Aaron Hicks. 2 XBH. DS Moments. Ugh! IF I can get one, the other one isn't coming. Most often, I am restarting in the 7th or 8th inning.
Edit: I finally got it. I ended up using directional and pulling the stick towards the batter (either 9 or 3, depending on which side of the plate he was on). One HR to right and one long fly to the new cut out in LF.
