Opposite in real baseball

In real baseball I did not like facing southpaws and preferred RHP's. In the show I love facing lefties over right handers.
In real life I loved facing sidearm/subs but in the show I find them impossible to hit.
Anyone else have different tendencies from real vs show? Besides pitch speeds. Let's be honest 92mph in the show is a cakewalk. Real life...not so much lol.

Same handed pitching. I prefer facing it in the game, but prefer to face opposite hand pitching IRL

I don't know about you, but I think of it like this. When I swing a bat, it's easier for me to make adjustments side to side. Adjusting higher or lower is hard. With a thumbstick, it's easier for me to adjust up and down, but much harder side to side. If lots of people are like that, it partially explains to me why I'm bad at this game. My instincts are backwards.
