do the developers understand its very common to fake steal or to start to steal and then stop? do the understand it doesn’t take 10 steps to slowdown or halfway down the basepath to stop and go back? it’s ridiculous that i cannot round a base hard and then stop quickly and get back to the bag in time. if the idea was to prevent people from stopping stealing because of a bad jump then they are morons and overthinking it. especially in rtts

Done to prevent exploits. find it everywhere in RL too, anytime you find yourself asking "why is it like this" the answer almost always is " cause ppl messed it up"

You have to increase your BRAG(base running aggressiveness) to change directions quickly. Unfortunately they have made it almost impossible to gain BRAG. You have to be safe by an eyelash when taking the extra base, and if you’re out you lose BRAG…so it’s a wash. And it’s rarely offered in the training menu.

The ability to stop or freeze, especially on deep line drives would be nice. I don’t know how many times a deep ball I should go half way on ends up an out because the running mechanics takes half a base length to stop and turn around.

agreed. theres just no immersion or control over your player. it also drives me crazy that it forces me to slide some times. yes i can influence how i slide but why they force me to slide if i dont want to is just dumb. these are things that have been like this for years now and havenot been touched. we should start calling this game Madden MLB 23: The Same Show. either that or just call it Diamond Dynasty
