Game Freeze: Having position player start on the mound.

Tried searching this but wasn’t sure how to word my search; I’m sure this is a known issue, but here’s what happened:
Dihigo is usually my starting C, but I decided to have him randomly start at P for my last game (during the P selection screen after already matched up). I am pretty sure he ended up being both the pitcher and the catcher (I didn’t pause to check), and when he came up to bat in the 1st, the game froze.
Seems the solution would be if you take one of your starting position players and have him start on the bump, it would vacate his spot in the lineup and you have to choose a player off the bench to take his place before the game can start.
But I’m no programmer, and I’m sure adding all these two-way players to the game added some challenges. Still, this is an issue that needs a fix.
