Babe Ruth or Big Mac, Jeter and Wagner?

I asked a question before regarding doing the live set or set 1. Seemed like most people said set one.
But once you get Chipper(or whoever you choose but probably should be Chipper) what do you do from there? Say you need a couple of big diamonds in the AL to finish LS. Let’s say Trout, Ohtani, Judge and deGrom. Once that is complete you would get Big Mac, Jeter and Wagner plus Mantle if that’s your guy at the cost of about 700k give or take a few tens of thousand of stubs. What’s a few tens of thousands of stubs amongst friends right?
Or you could go for that second Set 1 collection boss. Probably Ruth. But at 15-20k a pop and probably needing 40+ cards, including a couple that are more in the 30-40k range, this would cost you in the 800-900k range for once card. And the only thing that would ease this burden would be a quick one stop for a sweet 2500 stubs and 10k xp.
So as we progress through our decisions what direction is everybody moving in after the first set 1 boss?

Short term answer is Set 1.
Long term…
- is there a time when you will ever regret having Wagner in the pen?
- Babe v Big Mac at 1st…but remember you only get 1 wildcard slot and that will be filled by…
- Chipper! And the best defensive version of Chipper we’ve ever seen…with respectable speed to boot.
- Mantle…great #2 hitter and will age like fine wine with PXP and more LHP coming into the game.
