So you went from being an average/below average hitter to bad hitter because people’s input pitching wise matters now? Seems like there would be less RNG now when good pitch releases aren’t hanging in the middle of the zone.. now instead of waiting for the game to hang a pitch for you to hit you have to move the pci.. uh oh for you, maybe time to hit up practice mode.

This game has nothing to do with skill. Look, play with no buttons and no strikezone box and hotzones off to aid your way. Now that is a real players setting.
This game is weak... and the community forum is always the same toxic plugs!

Batting average in a video game means absolutely nothing in a real life scenario.
Just think if you're interviewing for a job and you're qualified for the job but the person doing the interview says; "oh wait, you batted .220 in MLB The Show 23. Sorry, the cutoff for this position is .270.".
You said that you like baseball and you play this game because it's the only game out there. Which means that you're playinf to have fun. It seems like you're not having fun.
I like football. Madden is the only football game out there. But I haven't touched Madden in years because of all the issues.
If you're not having fun; stop playing.
If you continue to play; that's on you.
Coming on here complaining about how the game plays, and continuing to play, is like banging your head against the wall because there is nothing else to do and complaining that you have a headache.
Actually, when I see people complain, yet still continue to play, all I envision is the meme where someone is riding a bike and they proceed to our a stick into the spokes of the bicycle's wheels and then blame it on something else.

Haven’t had this dramatic drop you are complaining of or have seen a significant change at all. I’m in the 700s in ranked and was able to put up 13 runs on HOF in my last game just a little bit ago. My batting averages have gone down lately only because of playing on a higher difficulty. Seems like you a had few bad games and like most go to the internet in pure reactionary rage to go on an angry rant. It’s good to sometimes think, “Maybe I just had a bad game or day”
