Pitch attributes not progressing is being worked on.

Just so everyone knows;
In RTTS, there is a currently a glitch that will now allow velocity, control or break to go past 36-37. H/9, K/9 and the other base attributes are not affected. According to the biggest content creators, SDS is aware of the issue and working on it. If you are like me and couldn't understand why your base attributes were going up but your velocity was stuck hopefully it saves you some time. I will be waiting to play anymore RTTS until issue is fixed so that I can be earning base progression and pitch progression. -
What do you think the estimated timeframe is on this?

Thanks for the detail mate. I’ve started back on RTTS this year after giving it the flick in 21-22 because I feel it took a turn for the worst. I’m hopi g this year is more enjoyable. Are there any other major bugs in RTTS to be aware of?

I managed to find an almost-workaround
started a new RTTS file using one of those XP grind rosters where every player except your team is a 0 OVR. I simmed until I got a game with earn 2x towards break/control, then threw nothing but sliders all game. AI couldnt hit them at all. That managed to get my slider Break up to 37. It's now at 40.
Did the same thing over—waiting for a 2x break game—but swapped my Slider with my Curve because the AI hits the curve way better. Break upgraded to 37 same as last time. Did that a few times over to get it to 40, then swapped my Slider for my Changeup and did the same thing over again

Errrgh , I've put the entire game on ice for the last week because I've only ever cared about RTTS for many years. I'm not going to grind seasons with my player getting older and stats never improving. Hope it's updated soon before I lose my interest this year completely.

Well they just released update 5 with no mention of this in the patch notes. I’m guessing they’re never going to fix this since it’s been over a month since people started reporting this. Oh well, other games are coming out now so I’m not going to waste my time on a game with a major mechanic that doesn’t work.

I envy you for getting even that high. I've had 2 different players stuck at 35 and 36 respectively. I've tried reinstalling the entire game, restarting my RTTS, deleting all saved data on my PS5. I've tried just about everything on my end to work around this annoying problem that there seems to be zero acknowledgement on from SDS. I guess since we're not streamers we don't get to know anything

Which is why I've fallen back to The Show 21. If they don't want to fix the glitch, I don't need play the current game.

So a month and a half later, is this still a thing or were they lying about "working" on it? What an absolute joke. Guess there's always 2024. I just feel bad for people who paid money out of their pocket for the game who only play RTTS (me before signing up for gamepass).

Has this been fixed? If not, is there a timetable for when it will be? I have been keeping this game on hold for this exact issue. Seems like a pretty trivial thing to fix...

This is may work, but is not a complete workaround since your attributes still reset. So the only way this works is by just spamming one pitch for an entire game and hoping you get enough to cycle the attribute to the next level. If you don't, your progress is lost. This seems like a simple issue that could be fixed with minimal effort. How do we get this raised up in priority lol

or they could just fix their game. Too busy making new shiny cards and gambling addictions to bother with the integrity of the game of baseball though
