idk if anyone has realized but there is people batting crazy numbers and hitting no doubters online skill free. Timing is literally an option to press X and crush the ball without any SKILL whatsoever. So SDS releases statements on how they wanted to incorporate a skill gap more than ever this year but leave the option for Directional and Timing to be used online head to head. I'm really not sure how they can leave an option for people to not have to peace up the ball and state there is a skill gap. HEAD TO HEAD should be zone hitting nothing else. Another year with broken pitching and perfect releases, 0 skill hitting options and freezes and lag

I doubt anyone makes WS using Timing. There may be a few, but I would think that's it. If I played RS, I would still use Meter pitching because that feels the most natural.
Let people play with what is 'legal.' Until SDS says 'No Directional or Timing in RS,' there's nothing one can do. -

Timing IS a problem, but the guys smashing everything are just good at zone.
When someone pauses the game in key contact situations and then all the sudden don't swing at anything off the plate, that's timing. It's very reliable when you need to get a runner home from 3rd and all you need is contact.
Zone is better.
