In what reality (other than a bad Manager who has no clue what they're doing) do you a pull the starting pitcher out of a 3-0 two hit game that's averaging 2 strikeouts an inning and 0 walks right before their 9th inning appearance?

I wish they would pull my pitchers as they constantly leave them in with zero energy.

And the game constantly reminds me that your pitcher is tired. Like I know but You have to talk to the idiot in charge.

The situation I just described, it's an absolute insult to the pitcher by getting pulled before having a chance to close out the game and finishthe shutout. It's an even bigger insult when it happens to be Game 1 of the World Series, which is the game I was playing when said situation happened to my pitcher.

Here's a good one: Playing on the road in the AA, I make it to the bottom of the 11th inning of 0 to 0 game pitching a perfect game. For the first 10 innings I have 22 strikeouts, 0 Walks, 0 fielding Errors and under 110 pitches thrown. The first batter of the 11th earns me strikeout number 23 on only 3 pitches. The manager immediately pulls me out of the game and the reliever gives up the game winning hit the very next batter. I finish with 23 SO 10.1 Innings Pitched 0 ER loss because some morons who can write software code and algorithms that don't know a [censored] thing about baseball apparently work for this game company.

Apparently there's a 110 max pitch count for an individual starting pitcher in a game preference by teams in the MLB.

My arm has to be in a cast before they take me off usually or I have to give up a run or two.

And a lot of MLB starters as well.

Though up 3 at the start of the 9th is a save situation. Up 4 at start of 9th is not.
Ergo, "Manager" thought it was perfect time for the closer.

Especially since in the WS, the rotation is top 3 only (so your character will get games 4 and 7 as well as the game 1 he was pulled from)

So energy management (want to let you recover enough pitches for your game 4 start) + closer chomping at the bit (this is why you pay them, after all) + save situation = hook.
