Saw Tatis in AAA game tonight and wasn’t impressed.

Offensively, he was fine, for AAA. But defensively, he was slow. He let a fly ball fall in front of him that other fielders would have caught and he let one go over his head. It was obvious he wasn’t going all out and was holding back in RF.
It may be that he is still getting used to that position. There were a TON of Padre's fans at the stadium and he signed some things for people, which was nice.
It will be interesting to see how he does when he gets back to MLB.

He hasn’t played in over a year. It’ll take him some time to adjust but I bet he still has a stellar year and all is forgotten. If he isn’t an idiot again haha

You could tell. The only time I saw him hustle was was when he was on third and there was a long fly out. He was at home in six steps (it seemed like).
