Better without Captain boosts

I found myself working to get captain boosts but then I just built what I consider my best team (not for completing missions or anything, just for competitiveness)...
So in LF I have 99 Ricky who IMO is usually the best leadoff hitter in The Show..CF is 99 Trout who has been a beast, RF 99 Sosa who is an insane card. 99 Machado, 99 Jeter, 99 Ketel, and 99 McGwire/97 Alonso ....Bench at C.. 99 Ohtani at DH and SP..My bench is like a toss up...Judge, Soto, Duke, etc.
I went with Wright and.Cover athletes but.I scrapped that because that only boosts against lefties...99 Jeter is.insane so I'd rather use him than 92 Jeter who boosts Captains. Even Captains w the Jeter boosts aren't better than by current team.

Same w my pitching staff.. SDS wanted 99s to be available at drop and IMO that conflicts with the Captain theme team thing. Or it makes players wo high cards like me more competitive maybe???..
