How do the captain boosts work?

I put cliff Lee in my lineup, activated the boost in the captain screen, but it says no active boost above him and it doesn't show any of the boosts on the players

You got the first obvious,how about the second one, do you have the players he boosts in your lineup? in the case of Lee it would be Phillies live series pitchers.

I have yet to use the Captain boost, but do you have the requirement of six, eight or ten Phillies LS pitchers in your lineup?

You first need to have X players on your team you then need to assign said captain to your team. For instance Judge gives power to any Yankee batter. So load your team up with for instance (Gold Hicks, Ibanez, Judge himself, Any Jeter card, Posada) and suddenly you have yourself a lineup that just sluggs.

Yes, I have 10 in the lineup, it doesn't say any of them are boosted

I did put them in the lineup and activate Lee as the pitching captain. Have 10 live series phillies pitchers in the lineup

There is a icon bouncing on the players boosted and you can tell their increases in their pie chart. I have lee and did so know it works.

I fixed it. Just closed app and flipped who I had as my pitching captain a few times and it made the boosts active.

who are your captains gents? im using dibbles for pitcher captain and buck for on field
Harper and a lineup of AS (mostly) RH lefty killers got me an almost clean sweep of TA mini seasons.
Kershaw with all LA LS pitchers on the other side. -
