Do WBC Cards to anything for Team Affinity program?

So I just got done with the WBC program. I am not off to affinity program but do the WBC cards do anything there? Since they are not associated with teams rather with countries.

Just play MLB Team players in Affinity?

If the WBC player is associated with an MLB team, it would count for that team's team affinity.
