Things tied to the 1st inning you will, points for just playing will go to the 2nd inning.

Correct. The option for missions/collections under each Inning program will always contribute towards that program. Games and daily missions only contribute to the most recent inning program.

I heard that playing the 1st inning conquest map in later innings gives 1st inning points, is that correct?

I am not talking about the one time completion reward, I am talking about the individual games within the map
