When losers decide to quit via dashboard while a home run is in the air, please allow the home run to count. This was a problem in 22 that just happened in the tech test for 23. Thank you

I've had 2 people in a row dashboard... in a casual game... during the tech test

There needs to be a punishment for this.

they cant implement a punishment for something that is out of their control. They wouldnt be able to determine if it was an actual dashboard or a power/connection drop.

I agree, but way back in 2005 on Madden if someone quit on you they would give you the option to continue against the CPU, which would mean stats could still count and you could still work on your missions, etc.

You'd think it would be a no brainer with all these missions attached to stats

    I'm not following....who's boosting?

You and your opponent agree to match up and he quits, so you can boost against the computer?

Bruh...come on. Continuing against the CPU is legit. Why not just play the CPU if boosting is your thing

lol I wouldn’t say a punishment for rage quitting a tech test…However it is hilarious that people actually get mad & rage quit games that are truly meaningless.

Sorry, but SDS openly rewards cheaters. They don't care about your game experience, only how much money they can vacuum out of your wallet.

I will never forget or forgive their arrogant mouth piece spewing "working as intended."

They may as well change their name to EA Sports 2.

Sorry, but they can very much control dashboarding. It should be very easy to tell when the dashboarding cheater stole the home run from their opponent. This should automatically credit the player with the home run, double the points that the player who got cheated received, plus doubling any rewards for players and programs for that game.

Additionally, the player who cheated should have all their games reviewed and if there is a pattern of dashboarding they instantly get a lifetime ban with zero appeal.

The dashboarders are also the same d bags that bunt dance, bunt cheese, steal cheese and quick pitch at every opportunity.

By growing a spine SDS could instantly send the message that cheating will not be tolerated and instantly improve the gaming experience for everyone.

So in other words, do nothing. How does that make people want to go online again?

Don't make rewards tied to online games, then do nothing to police the online experience.

Negative. The home run does not register until the batter crosses the plate. Can't count the home run until that happens. Also, how can they tell if it's a dashboard or if it's a power/connection loss?

Actually they can and other games have implemented punishments for disconnects such as this. Before COD moved to dedicated servers they had what they called a “cool down period” where if you disconnected from the server abruptly too many times (3x’s) whether intentionally or not you were given a ban of a certain amount of time starting at 30 minutes and increasing from there for any subsequent disconnects. This all but ended dashboarding in COD. Meaning the only people that were disconnecting were doing so because of their internet service and not because they were trying to interrupt the game. If you reached the point of a ban because of your internet then you had no business playing online. So not only did it solve poor sportsmanship but also cleaned up the bad connections that were proliferating the servers. So yes, there certainly is a way to fix the problem questions is are they willing to implement it.

and when its SDS's fault and THEIR servers crash; then how do they handle that?

Hate to say it, if you're concerned about stats, online play isnt for you. If you are working towards stats (needed to progress a program) play offline or take the chance that it may not register in an online game.

Well he usually makes some claim about giving his PlayStation to his nephew or quitting the game. Then a few days later he starts a new PSN account to “fool” us.

Sorry, but if everyone on the field knows the ball is a home run, and the display goes to the no doubt home run animation, then it is obvious that the server knows it was a home run too.

Stop giving SDS excuses for their lazy behavior.

Then why doesn't it register in the score and for the player UNTIL they cross home plate?
