Alternate account question

So, I see that a bunch of you are starting over with alternate accounts. I have a question.
Ummm.... how do I do that? I have a PS5. Do I have to create a new user/account and buy the game again?
Sorry for the silly question.

Just have to make another PSN account with a different email. Then go to “switch user” and click on the new PSN you created. Start the game up and go!

Yes. The game would be available for all your accounts. I only have one alternate, but no desire to start again. NHL & NBA have been fun so far.

It's only like 5 minutes work thankfully. I didn't want to, but Playstation doesn't allow you to change your region if you move from one continent to another. Not a huge deal per se, but I wouldn't be able to access the US PS Store and also couldn't use PSN gift cards.
