Normally I don't care about freeze offs but I am up 15-3 on HOF in ranked and there is no way I am quitting on pure principal. He sent me a message that he was quitting, but it's still stuck on the freeze-off screen. I'll keep my system on as long as it takes.

Thanks for sharing; I guess. Not sure what this post accomplished. Even if your opponent is on this board; chances are if he didn't quit by now, this post won't make him quit.

No offense. But I really don't see what posts like these accomplish other than saying you would rather waste time not saying, or take the chance of your console frying, on order to secure the win.

Yes, you're winning. I understand that. But is a win that important that you'll give up playing for how ever long until one of you just quit?

I guess what he's trying to say is that people should have decency and quit out of a freeze off when you're losing, let alone getting absolutely hammered like this guy. His opponent might not be on this forum, but every reader can put himself in his shoes and remember this next time you're in a freeze off and you're losing. Do the right thing and take the L.

Yeah, I am just venting. Not really trying to accomplish anything. What's worse is that he actually sent me a message saying he was quitting because of the mercy and he needed to go. I can't imagine that he just left without shutting his system off. I feel like he was trying to set me up to quit. I am going to wait it out though. Gives me a reason to finally hook up my PS5 and play God of War.

Don’t quit. Get the W. The fact that you scored 15 runs on HOF tells me you could easily take the L and be fine in the long run but no reason to reward that guy.

Actually, I am not the greatest but I just had a really good game against Kerry Wood, and then he decided to keep Pete Alonso in the game where I got a few more runs before it froze in the 5th inning. Never gotten World Series before although I think I probably could in next year's game if I decide to play.

I can see that point. Luckily I don't think, in my limited time playing online, I've experienced a freeze off.

Awesome and congrats either way. I ended this season at 818 and just felt no desire to keep going. HOF is crazy hard so don’t even want to think about Legend. GL!👊

They might not be frozen, but you could be, next time try turning your controller off and then on again, worked for me a few times.
