Does anyone know if this affects the amount of time it takes an infielder to throw the ball…
Too many times I’ve had a ball hit directly to an infielder my throw is preloaded and I get animations where they do like a casual 2-3 steps and head nod and then they all of sudden just rocket the ball to whatever base. It’s really bad with balls hit directly to the pitcher. It’s impossible to turn a 1-4-3 dp because of the animation

There's nothing more infuriating than having the infield in, having a grounder hit directly at a fielder, then watch them do a choreographed dance before finally throwing the ball home two seconds after the runner on third easily scored. It's ludicrous.

I get that one too lol
The absolute worst is watching a ball hit 2 ft in front of the catcher and before he fields the ball he has to remove every piece of gear to get to it -
