Weren't these cards as low as 80-90K recently? Or am I thinking of something else?

I'm assuming they're around 120-190 now because it's still early in the Mantle lifespan.

Or are they going to stay around this range because there's nothing else to spend your stubs on?

I just hit the pack and took Victorino. But I also want Howard.

After the initial dip in the first few days of the next BR program. They are going to stick around that price. BR cards are going to be expensive until the end of the game cycle.
