Shouldn’t get negative launch angles on dead middle pci

Don’t know if it’s me facing degrom but I’ve had about 5 good swings dead middle pci result in a negative launch angle. Now if I was on top of it or the ball is under the pci a bit then sure that makes sense. But dead middle?

It would be a negative launch angle with a "dead middle PCI" result if your player was tomahawk chopping the ball! Maybe try an upper cut next time!

There is really no benefit to not being under every pitch. Can’t be a Homerun if it’s a grounder and it can’t be a double play if it’s a fly ball.
I’ve never really tried anchoring my pci low or finding a strategy to stay under the ball.
OP….I know what you mean…it’s annoying even sometimes when you are perfect perfect and it’s half a centimeter on top of the ball for a grounder or lineout.

@Chrono_Omega_PSN I’m not a very good hitter, but I saw a tip online about why dead on pci doesn’t always give you the result. He showed the difference between him using the pci like a bat; so he is swinging up at the ball, opposed to just having the ball hit the middle of your pci. He definitely got better results with the former.
It didn’t work for me, but as I stated, I’m not a great hitter. I can hit a hard foul into the infield stands with a dead center fastball P/P though. -

No horse in this race, however, it’s still an issue, some have just come to terms with it. Go watch content creators they have destroyed SDS this year. Guys like Koogs and Gunski don’t even put [censored] out anymore cause they cannot support this game.

Until they stop rewarding directional hitters for mashing buttons people in the middle who try to use skill to win games, not the top tier guys the middle guys will always be on the outside looking in. Perfect Pinpoints float down the middle allowing these button mashers to tee off. I just played 3 event games using directional hitting and went 3-0 scored at least 8 runs in all 3 games. You shouldn’t be rewarded for an easier hitting or a flawed pitching game mechanic…yet players are

I know it's still an issue. I've experienced as well. I've come to terms with it a long time ago. I just shut it off and not deal with it instead of keep playing and get more pissed off. Can't keep beating a dead horse at this point.
