Yes, if I want to try to get the 2000 PXP with just two batters. It's faster to rent them and sell them back.

How do you only have 2 hitters? every month ive done it : moments plus the individual pxp 1 pitcher /rest hitter and by the time you get the big pitching one done you are at or almost to the 5th pack, then you have 4 hitters to work on whats left of the big hitter pxp one

I take one pitcher and two hitters by the time I'm done with the TN mission. Then I get the pitching and most of the hitting missions done by the time the 6-point card comes up. Sure, it's faster to rent them, but you take a big chance of losing stubs in the process.

Just started Stage 2. After doing the Moments and the TN Mission; that gave me 118pts. 2pts shy of the first 3 man pack.
Wanted to buy Chapman and Carpenter to get those two in my lineup; plus the 15pts for the Collect 5. Then I could've grabbed one when I got the pack and sold that one back. Same with the second pack.
Edit: I forgot I never started the Bat Conquest Map and thought I was going to have to attempt the PXP in either a 9 Inn Play vs CPU game or in a MS game. The latter would mean that I couldn't use Irvin more than once every three games.
I got Chapman and Carpenter and am now close to finishing the hitting and pitching PCP Missions.
