Freeze Off question

Ok, so you're playing someone that has a HORRIBLE connection.

The connection is so bad that after the pitcher throws the ball the game 'pauses' for about 5-7 seconds.

It ALWAYS happens in the third pitch of the AB, sometimes more than once an AB, and it ONLY happens when you're pitching.

The game does lag when you're hitting; but only after you get a hit.

You stick it out and the games goes into the 3rd inning where you're losing 2-0.

You come back to load the bases, with one out left, but the game freezes on the first pitch of that batter.

Do you quit or do you wait it out knowing that if your opponent had decent internet; this may not have happened?

It's an Event game.
