Anyone know how to fix this practice mode bug?

I’m a two way player, pitcher/right fielder. I want to take some fielding practice but when I go into practice mode and choose fielding, it puts me at 2nd base!!! Anyone know how to fix this?

I wish I had the answer for us both, it’s a real bummer for certain! I just wanted to add that the player that I’ve created isn’t a two-way player, but is a SP exclusively and when I try to do some fielding practice with him, he is always slotted into the middle infield as well, with him playing either short or second..just like yourself. TBH I had simply written it off as being due to my refusal/terror to meddle with any of the sliders or settings…i would almost bet there’s a workaround for this…unless it’s just brokedy broke from go and that should just suck…the game tracks all of the season long fielding stats for consideration of the gold glove award at the completion of the season, which the pitchers are included in also, it has a slew of different fielding related attributes, not to mention the nifty behind the back comebacker snags as well….when I consider these things it would seem impossible for there NOT to be a way to take some grounders from the mound in Fielding Practice Mode, right? I gotta believe that someone is going to read this and come to our rescue with the workaround…I would be incredibly appreciative of anyone who might be able to help out with this - speaking for myself I can honestly say that it would make my friggin’ week if I could learn a way to do this!
