Settings to make the game more enjoyable
-
Usually this time of year I start messing with the settings to try and make the game more enjoyable. Below are some of the things I’ve tweaked that are keeping me engaged…for at least this week.
-
Turn off all feedback. Pitch feedback, hitting feedback. Take all that “late sided good,” nonesense and shove it. None of it matters. So turn it off. Pitch feedback - including the white dot you see after a pitch? Off. I just want baseball, not things that remind me how frustrating the game can be. You dig?
-
Hitting view Retro + in play camera on dynamic. You laugh but try it. Seriously. So rewarding when you get a hit.
-
Pitching take off the pitching reticle so that you don’t see where you’re aiming and use pinpoint. What you’ll find is that you think less about “dotting” and more about what you’re trying to do to either get the hitter to swing and miss, or, to hit the ball where you want him to hit. Which is.. you know…baseball.
Give it a try!

Love this…
And how about this.
Pick a set of player cards… say the All Star cards.Make a lineup of only those.
So really no 99/perfect cards.
Play the CPU w those settings you mentioned on Legend.
More enjoyable to me than on line.
