LOTF Conquests

These two maps wouldn't be that bad if the CPU didn't take 60-70% of your fans EVERY sim. Or if they didn't take the same four to five hexagons that you JUST conquered; making you have to waste fans on taking them again so you don't get cut off from your base.
Turn 32 on the Central map and I only have 3 strongholds conquered. And all the other ones the cpu owns have 25 fans in them and a wall around them of 15-20 per hexagon.
I'm about ready to either restart it or just say 'f-it' and call it for the remainder of the program.

I haven’t finished the map yet, I haven’t had much time lately. Are you going straight after each stronghold?

I have no clue what I'm doing. The last 5-6 turns have been taking over the same 5 hexagons and stronghold.
I'm probably skipping the rest of the map. Each stronghold that is left for me has 25+ fans in it and is surrounded by multiple hexagons that have 20+ fans in them.

I actually had a similar problem with the East map. Someone told me to save the strongholds for last, that was a mistake. I restarted and just went straight after the strongholds. I played some steal fans on some turns to avoid playing on difficulties harder than all star. It doesn’t help that they packed 10 teams in small maps.

Bummer other people are having this issue. I definitely think they are harder than normal but if you steal early and often you should be able to take control of the map quickly. Once you are reinforcing several a turn and on the move its just a matter of time. I know stealing can get annoying but honestly, it's just adding more Games. Personally, I feel like this game needs more content so I can play more games that are meaningful and this aids in that. I am a stat nerd so I take the opportunity to build my stats.
Steal on All Star or Veteran every turn for about 6 or 7 turns until you're controlling a corner of the map, then just attack and reinforce. Feel free to skip attacks and reinforce a few times to build your fans/armies/groupies whatever.

I agree that stealing fans, though not a requirement as a mission, is essential in making these maps more manageable. Otherwise it gets out of hand.

I'm about to take the Brewers Stronghold. My Fourth Stronghold and they're all sitting at 8 or 9...Only had to play a few games on All-Star and I only did that to go for All-Star Homeruns for the Moonshot Program. But I actually play the games in the beginning until I build up a solid fanbase.
