RTTS Uniform Number Issue

I noticed that when new players come to your team, they take the number of an existing player and the existing player is forced to change their number. For example, I saw Gleyber Torres change his number like 4 times, from 25 to 29, back to 25, to 30, and back to 25. Also, I have Jared Walsh on the Yankees at 1st base and he’s number 20, which was already retired for Jorge Posada. Will this ever be fixed?
