Why did they make it so much easier to parallel a pitcher over a hitter? In two games I have Roberts up to 400 PXP and Hernandez, Simmons, and Baines are only at/around 100/125.

Probably because pitchers are good for 1 game out of every 3 or 4 (online) games while hitters can play every game!

That make sense if you try for them online. I usually try to level them up in Conquest (if it's for Missions)

I have 3 to par5. all offline. Cov Howard, he did it in 5 hundred some ABs, which is a full seasons worth(approximately). V Wagner, he did it in 117 IP which is 2 seasons worth for a reliever.
and LS Wheeler, he did it in 131 IP which is about 2/3- 3/4 of a season for a starter.(1/4 of a season pre 1990)Definitely not equal

Pitchers get PXP for innings pitched, strike outs, shutouts, complete games, etc. That's a plethora more PXP than hitters.

I know the community wanted it to be easier to parallel relief pitchers, but they've over corrected quite a bit. I paralleled 5 Randy in about 85 or so innings. They need to find away to make it so relief pitchers get more parallel points over starters.

I feel the best way to parallel relievers is in mini-seasons or conquest. You get a save more often (as long as it’s not a blowout), and you can also use them as an opener and get a win by pitching one inning.
