This event

Maybe I'm just in a slump or completely regressing with my play.....
But this event has been the most rage inducing event I can remember. I am at 20 wins already, but it probably took me 50 games. squared up swings going nowhere ,shutting down your opponent for 2 innings and then all of a sudden they're Ted Williams, and every one I play just throws junk in the dirt ALL game. etc...
Anyone else notice things like this in the current event or am I just imagining this.

I started taking 2 strikes per at bat and all that bs pitching stopped.

It's almost unbearable. I didn't mean to complain as if I am chasing all those pitches.... But sitting there against people who do that is just boring as hell. It's like man, c'mon... It's a FREE event. Let's throw strikes and have some fun.

Randy and Ryan are carrying some players. They either quit as soon as you hit them or lose late in the game when they have to pinch hit.
My strategy is Randy in the rotation, if you start him and I can hold you to zero runs until the 3rd inning expect me to close the game with him, I’ll put him in when I get the lead for sure, people quit right away because they love to dominate with him but [censored] their pants when they see him.

Love it. I mentioned this strategy in an earlier thread. I think I have faced Tandy in 10 of my last 12 event games.

I’ll say it again, I’d say 75% of the time I start Randy the opponent quits.

I’ve seen online guys who just pitch Nolan ryan and Randy in every game and then forfeit and start over. I mean I like to win, but where is the fun?

Yes, I remember. I used him as a closer if my opponent was bad, if it was a good player their fourth batter had to deal with Randy.

To sell the rewards early and make more stubs I guess. I didn’t rush it and still made like 230K out of this event, I kept aparicio and sold the last two, both were going for 100K+ when I did it

I’m crazy I won’t sell them lol. If I don’t have a card I can’t sell it. Well after I complete the live series. The first month anything I get is sold for the live series lol
