Punishment for improving my fielding?

I am playing in the show 20 and 21. This is for my 20 RTTS. I get to go to do training today. I chose to improve my fielding which is at a 75 in RF. During the game that immediately followed the pitcher allows 3 no doubt bombs and I actually lost three points on defense on plays I literally could do nothing about.
Talk about being ripped off!

That's the problem woth playing a corner positions. Year after year after year- LF/RF get to spend 50% of their plays watching no bouts fly over their head. And 3B/1B get to field and abnormal about of bunts.... nothing will change.... go spend money on DD
