Is the XBOX controller easier on the hands?

Here's the deal. Sold my PS5 a couple months ago and haven't played in awhile. The new PS5 controllers really screwed my tendons/ligaments up in both hands. Right along the fat part of your palm and thumb. This is the only game I've played for years and I never had an issue with the PS4 controllers.

I caught the baseball bug again at the deadline but I'm not going back to PS5. Can you relate and are the new XBOX controllers easier on your hands?

I'm enjoying the xbox controller myself but don't recall having any problems playing with the ps5 controller last year

Did you try the Kontrol Freek grips on the controllers?

All of my DIP joints are fusing and it gets pretty painful to use the PS5 controller sometimes. I have one without the grips and one with the grips and the one with the grips is definitely more comfortable, and I can play longer with that controller.

As far as an XBOX comparison, that I don't have.

I never used Kontol Freeks. All I know is the change in design really messed my hands up.
