Moments Game Play XP

I only need 397 XP to get my next NLE ASotF pack, so I decided I will replay a program Moment (since I have them all done) to get that game play XP. I did the first pitching Moment and showed that I got over 500 gameplay XP (something like 280 1st Inning and 240 in the 2nd Inning) yet I am still 397 XP away from my next NLE ASotF pack!
I understand I don't get the 1500 reward XP a second time, but I should get my gameplay XP!!!
Apparently when I back out of DD and get back into DD the gameplay XP miraculously appears and I get my NLE ASotF pack!

Yeah I've tried that multiple times lol it just doesn't work
