Let’s all Agree we need change

This game on ranked is unplayable now I know why I will never play ranked again until change happens. Where I fly out every time I get barrel but the opponent can crank a HR with a pitch 4 balls high up in the zone that’s ridiculous. Fix the game it’s not hard. Please fix the game make skill matter. I’m sick and tired of this.

It happens in every mode. Why is ranked any different?

Sounds like a you problem since I don't fly out every time I get a barrel, so everything must be fine

Yes actual skill. No freaking monitors, and all the cheating gadgets. Let people that play on 4k 8k TVS have the same advantage.

Until they get new servers or way to make online play smoother with no lag its going to continue to be an terrible experience online. Every game is a lag fest and timing windows always inconsistent also.

This. I just played two RS games. The first one was against E Perez and I struck out 16 times even though I consistently had my PCI lined up. The lag was that bad that I couldn't time a single pitch.
The next game was against a guy who was an artist with Dallas Keuchel and I hit him just fine because the connection was good.
It was almost as if I played two different games. All based on the connection.

It really sucks that all of these problems only specifically happen to you guys, ranked has been outstanding this year on my end. Servers have been smoother than ever and the games/competition have played as good as any other year. Only gripe is location of pitches missing spots, other than that it’s a blast.

This. I’ve only played one really bad game. After the first inning I sent a friendly. They accepted and we moved on.
Sent them a message thanking and mentioning the lag. They said it was bad on there end as well.

Maybe i'm just getting lucky with good internet? I don't know, but if some people are getting a money connection everytime and they arent....how is it SDS's fault?

Agreed, there is no reason to sweat this mode at all. Even the rewards are garbage. RS needs an overhaul.

I finally decided to play an event this weekend. I played 4 games (2 entries). I straight up lost 1 game and wasn't hitting very well. The lag threw off my timing, but to be expected. In the other 3 games, like clockwork, they couldn't hit me at all. Pitching is my strong suit. but the last batter, which was a sub for the pitcher in all 3 games, 1st pitch homer with the ball out of the strike zone for the win (I was the visiting team all 3 times). Has this specific situation happened to anyone else? After it happened in the last game I though, maybe if I try to play online again and this situation happens, I will just hit his sub. Thoughts???

I seem to notice that those occasional fat pitches, even with good inputs, happen just like that. Last inning and pinch hitter.

It has nothing to do with internet.... they use crappy servers. I play several games online and this only game I have ever had an issue.

I live in nyc and the connect has been fine in ranked

Game as been pretty playable for me. Sure sometimes I have line drive outs or an off pci homerun. Or maybe I give up home runs on pitches out of the strike zone and hang a slider for it to only be popped up.
Hell sometimes I even....lose!gasp
But all in all I have fun. But I guess you wouldn't know any of that. Since your game is unplayable.

I hate that you have to have a monitor to play this game now. Its a huge pain why am I spending 500 on a 24 inch monitor when I have a 50+ inch 4k tv. I understand the input lag but come on level the playing field.
