Showdown Advice

So my strategy for the division Showdowns has been to play the first set of blue moments, the first red one, the second set of blue moments and then jump to the final showdown. I usually go into the final showdown down 5-15. The only time I ever beat it was when I went into it with 7 runs.
Need one more AL East Showdown win to get FOTF Snell. Anyone have any advice or a different strategy I should use? Thanks

I just play them all for the packs, XP and stubs since I've gotten diamond from the free packs

1 silver starter. 2 silver pen. Rest of the cards use position players. High Power, swtich/lefty hitters key. Lefties are hard to find in the AL east one tho.

Yeah I've been debating playing all of them. Losing the second red moment seems too risky though

There isn’t a risk for the second red one because you have made all of your stubs back. So it’s not that bad.

That has been my strategy. But I agree with the lefites. I always get to the final showdown and realize my whole lineup is righties. Tough because you have to face Rodriguez and Snell in the earlier moments

I just meant the risk of losing it and having to start over. But that's true

Hicks
Mancini
Adley
FotF Devers
Giambi
Glyber (Either)
Gurriel Jr.

I try to focus my draft on the best hitters to face the final boss. I always draft the best hitter and only draft a pitcher if forced to. The mini bosses should be fairly doable. Don't forget to modify your squad before boss showdowns. If you have a strong bench bat, move your pitcher up in the batting order before the challenge since you'll be pinch hitting for them anyway. Put your best hitters in regardless of position. Only select hitting perks. Avoid pitching perks and anything that requires 2 outs or 7th inning or later. The best perks I've found for the bosses are "Rattled" More fielding errors with runners is scoring position and the one with contact boost while trailing. (since your always trailing against the bosses) Be patient. Try to take two strikes the first time thru you line up or just sit fat fast ball early in the count.

I like all those suggestions. Thanks

Just one silver RP is necessary. Have never needed two. Especially at Rookie and Veteran levels, whatever RP you chose is usually filthy for what is needed. Use that extra RP for a power bat if the option presents itself.

I like having the second for "Pick up in the 8th" missions. It can be a 76, I just like having it.
